Former first lady Michelle Obama and Ann Romney, wife of Sen. Mitt Romney, are slated to appear together in a television special to encourage voting.

The two are both listed as participants in ABC’s upcoming comedy special "VOMO: Vote or Miss Out." The program, slated for Sept. 14, will attempt to raise voter turnout among all demographics. It’s a collaboration between Obama and ATTN: a media company focused on social issues. Also partnered is the nonprofit When We All Vote.

The event will be hosted by comedian Kevin Hart and feature a flew of celebrity guests performing comedy or musical routines. Some of those in attendance are Will Ferrell, Scarlett Johansson, John Hamm, Jay Leno, Tiffany Haddish, 2 Chainz, Jaden and Willow Smith, and Charlamagne tha God.

Aside from entertainers, a range of political figures will also make an appearance. Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gov. Larry Hogan, and Cindy McCain, all conservative figures who have previously spoken out against President Donald Trump in the past, will be included in the special.

Ann Romney’s husband Sen. Mitt Romney has emerged as a consistent voice of moderation and dissent within the republican party. The 2012 Republican presidential candidate has publicly feuded with President Trump and was the only Senate Republican to vote in favor of impeachment in February.

The former political rivals Mitt Romney and Barack Obama now find themselves in agreement on many hot-button issues.

The special will also contain information around how to vote and recent rule changes in voter registration.

"We have a societal responsibility to participate in our country’s democracy. This nonpartisan special will, through comedy, encourage people to vote this November," said Tom Werner, one of the creators of the special.

ATTN: co-founder Matthew Segal said, “Voter participation is in ATTN:’s DNA, and we hope that we can create an event that will speak to all generations, young and old, in a way that shows them that by engaging in the political process, we have an exceptional opportunity to have our voices and values reflected at every level of government.”
