Activision may reveal its next “Call of Duty” installment in May. On Thursday, Xbox community manager Raj Patel posted a mysterious image on Twitter, along with the phrase “hmmmm…” Morse code translated from the image says “Presented by Xbox, 10 Am PDT/1PM EST May 4, 2015.”

Publisher Activision usually reveals its plans for new “Call of Duty” games in May, and the announcement is often made with the help of Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft.

In 2014, Activision announced that “Advanced Warfare” was coming on May 2, while in 2013, “Call of Duty: Ghosts” was revealed on May 2. The franchise’s development is currently on a three-year cycle by three main studios, so this year’s installment will likely be created by Santa Monica-based studio Treyarch, which last developed “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” in 2012.

Hours later, Patel called the image “unofficial” and said he posted it to “see what others think of it, not as an endorsement or tease.”

Still, it’s likely there’s some validity to the tweet and that Activision plans to make a major “Call of Duty”-related announcement in early May. Think we’ll learn about the next “Call of Duty” game this spring? Leave a comment below.
