Microsoft Windows 10 Creators Update Release Date: Update Might Be Finalized By March-End
The final version of the Windows 10 Creators Update will be distributed to testers by March-end, according to a report published Monday on the Verge.
The much-awaited Windows operating system (OS) update currently is in the final stages of development and could release soon said the report.
While Microsoft has been mum on the Windows 10 Creators Update release date, it is expected to launch on April 11, according to a MSPoweruser report published Friday

The Windows 10 Creators Update has been creating a buzz even before its launch — Windows Central reported Monday that the company was planning to distribute the release candidates of the final version of the update ‘in the next week’. In addition to these pre-release versions of the OS, the report also says that the company is preparing the final security patches for the update, to make it ready before the final release.

The Creators Update is expected to come with many new features including a new game mode, 3D Paint, Microsoft HoloLens support and picture-in-picture support. Additionally, Microsoft Edge is expected to get an open tab preview feature in the update. The company is also adding new security features to the Windows OS with the Creators Update including an improved Windows Defender ATP, which is expected to minimize and track cyber attacks and help security teams prevent them.
The company has also promised that it will be more transparent about its updates going forward. Also, the Creators Update, unlike the previous Windows update, will not make your PC reboot many times during the update process. Another feature of the update is Windows Goodbye, which will automatically lock the PC to protect user data, if the user is away from the machine for long.
A second Windows 10 Creators update, codenamed Redstone 3 will be launched later in the year.
