There seems to be another situation in the Jersey Shore house. TMZ is reporting that Mike The Situation Sorrentino has checked into an inpatient treatment program.

The Situation is said to have been having an ongoing situation with substance abuse. Sources close to the MTV hit show, Jersey Shore, have confided in TMZ that Sorrentino's hard partying ways have spiraled out of control. These sources continued that the reality star was acting paranoid, and unusual during the filming of season five.

Besides filming, Sorrentino's hard-partying promotional appearances since Jersey Show first aired are said to be a contributing factor to his check into rehab.

Mike The Situation Sorrentino's rep told E! News that he is not in rehab for substance abuse, but has actually spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule.

Sorrentino's tweets follow his reps denial of rehab. Don't believe everything you read or hear, Sorrentino tweeted at around 8:30 p.m. last night.

This wouldn't be the first time that a Jersey Shore star denied a claim that turned out to be true. Just a few weeks ago Snooki denied being pregnant, only to come out confirming her pregnancy on the cover of Us Magazine.
