Mila Kunis revealed a ridiculous household policy that would surely leave many in shock.
The 39-year-old "Black Swan" star opened up about her current family life with E! News reporter Francesca Amiker while promoting her latest movie "Luckiest Girl Alive," premiering on Netflix on Oct. 7, in an interview released Friday. Kunis, Ashton Kutcher's wife, revealed that her family observes an "open-door" policy in their house, including the bathrooms.
"Honestly, our doors are always open in our house. We have no closed doors in our house, that includes the bathroom," Kunis shared.
She continued, "It's just one of those where, for better or for worse, as a family and the kids have all kinds of embodied bodily function as a very standard norm."
The surprising revelation came when she got asked by Amiker about the one thing the actress would "never vow" to do in her past relationships but is now doing "shamelessly."
The "That '70s Show" actress, who shares 7-year-old daughter Wyatt and 5-year-old son Dimitri with Kutcher, also revealed that she never thought that she would be a "person able to go to the bathroom with the door open," but because of her children's constant knocking, she ended up doing so.
But that isn't the only bathroom habit Kunis and Kutcher observe. In July last year, the long-time Hollywood couple made the headlines following the revelation that they rarely bathed their children while guesting on the "Armchair Expert" podcast, hosted by Dax Shepard and Monica Padman.
"When I had children, I also didn't wash them every day. I wasn't the parent that bathed my newborns—ever," Kunis said. The actress also shared that growing up, she didn't experience having hot water while bathing, so she "didn't shower much anyway."
Shepard then shared the same sentiments as the couple, revealing that he and his wife, Kristen Bell, would usually bathe their newborn daughters "as part of a nighttime routine."
"We could care less about their cleanliness," Shepard quipped before joking, "We haven't washed them since. It's been like six years."
Kunis responded, "That's how we feel about our children. We're like, 'Oof, something smells.'" And although it may seem like a joke, Kutcher also commented, saying, "If you can see the dirt on 'em, clean 'em. Otherwise, there's no point."
The topic came up while Shepard shared his ongoing argument with co-host Padman, who was part of the "minority" of people washing their whole body in the shower. Shepard had advised Padman not to use soap on her body because it would rid "all that natural oil on your skin."
Kunis and Kutcher admitted to doing similar things, as they would usually only wash certain body parts, including their armpits and genitals.
