Miley Cyrus on Thursday celebrated 13-year anniversary of her 2008's music track, "7 Things," from the "Breakout" album.
The 28-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a series of photos and videos, including a 13-year celebration cover photo, footage of the music video, GIF with Selena Gomez, a fan's tweet, and a quote from her autobiography released in 2009.
In one of the slides, Cyrus shared a GIF of herself singing with Selena Gomez. In the next slide, she shared a tweet's screenshot that compared singer Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" with her song "7 Things."
Cyrus also posted a screenshot from the music video where she is holding a picture of her and ex Nick Jonas with his face scribbled out. She tagged him in the screenshot’s slide.
In her post, the "Hannah Montana" star also shared a quote from her autobiography, "Miles to Go," and admitted that she was angry while writing "7 Things."
"I was angry when I wrote '7 Things.' I wanted to punish him, to get back at him for hurting me. It starts with a list of what I 'hate.' But I'm not a hater," she said.
"My heart knew from the start that it was going to turn into a love song. Why does he get a love song? Because I don't hate him. I won't let myself hate anybody. That's not the way my heart works. It's a song about how I should hate him, but I don't, and I don't know why," the singer added.
Cyrus also urged her fans on Twitter to help find the teen girls featured in the music video. "Where are they now? Twitter do your thing," she wrote on the microblogging platform.
Cyrus also took to Twitter to announce the "Miley Pride Special" concert event, which is slated for June 25. "Coming to your home from my hometown Nashville, TN! We brought ALOT of LOVE into the legendary @theryman - See you there! #StandByYou," she tweeted.
Cyrus dropped her seventh studio album, "Plastic Hearts" on Nov. 27, 2020. The music album has 12 songs, including "Prisoner" featuring Dua Lipa, "Night Crawling" featuring Billy Idol, and "Bad Karma" featuring Joan Jett.
