Miley Cyrus, Cody Simpson Fighting Over Liam Hemsworth? 'Copping S--t Because Of Ex'
It seems all is not well between Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson.
According to Daily Mail, the newest couple in town is going through a rough patch in their relationship after the Aussie singer was overheard telling a friend that he is taking a lot of “s**t” because of Miley’s ex-husband and actor Liam Hemsworth.
Simpson, who is currently in Australia to shoot an episode for “The Masked Singer,” was on a call with one of his friends when he was caught discussing his whirlwind romance with the “Can’t Be Tamed” hitmaker.
According to an onlooker sitting nearby, the “La Da Dee” singer was seen complaining about Cyrus’ behavior to a friend at Andrew Boy Charlton Pool on Thursday.
“We had a weird one yesterday. Not really an argument but she kind of shut down,” Simpson was overheard saying.
The Australian star also added that the whole argument was “s—ty,” but he can’t do anything about it. The publication also reported that he knows everything about the negative responses he has been getting ever since it was revealed that he is dating Cyrus.
He allegedly explained how his fellow countrymen are going against him and remaining loyal to Cyrus’ ex-husband. “I am copping s**t here because of [her] exes. You know her husband is Australian,” Simpson said.
The report comes after the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker and Simpson have made their relationship official. Cyrus has already moved her new boyfriend into her home and they keep on sharing pictures of each other while having a great time.
Simpson and Cyrus began their relationship just two months after the “Hannah Montana” actress announced her split from Hemsworth. The actor revealed that he was “blindsided” by her announcement and did not want to talk much about the matter. Though it was later revealed that he wanted to make things better between the two. But the pictures of Cyrus kissing Kaitlynn Carter just ended all the possibilities.
Hemsworth and Cyrus met on the set of their first movie “The Last Song” in 2009. They decided to get married in a secret ceremony, six years after their first engagement.
Before starting her romance with Simpson, the “Slide Away” singer was involved in a short relationship with Carter. The rumored pair called it quits in September after 2 months of a whirlwind romance.
