Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson shocked fans with their very public make-out session just a few weeks after the Disney alum called it quits with Liam Hemsworth and Kaitlynn Carter, respectively. Initially, the couple, reportedly, had no plans to date each other as they just want to have fun. However, things, eventually, changed when Miley and Cody have become more intimate with each other.

Life&Style Magazine reported that Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson's romance has been on the rocks for weeks. A close pal of the “Hannah Montana” star even told the outlet that the Aussie singer was caught cheating on his girlfriend in New York City. The insider added that Cody is fed up with Miley’s clinginess.

“She may come across as confident, but Miley has a lot of underlying insecurities,” the same tipster claimed. “She wanted to be with Cody around the clock and her constant neediness drove him away,” it went on.

While Miley is said to be facing problems in her current relationship, she, reportedly, learned about Cody’s infidelity on the exact date on what would have been her first wedding anniversary with Liam Hemsworth. An informant said that, though “The Last Song” actor did not celebrate, he knows what Miley is going through right now. “The way Liam sees it, Miley’s finally got a taste of her own medicine,” the source stated of the hearsays that Cody cheated on Miley.

However, amid the cheating allegations, Cody’s sister, Alli Simpson, made it clear that the “La Da Dee” hitmaker and Miley Cyrus are still together. Alli, also, explained that the woman his brother was seen with is, actually, his best friend. "She [Jordy] is his best friend, Ryan Mcarthy's girlfriend of a few years. He's visiting him for a couple days," she divulged to Daily Mail.

On Thursday, Cody Simpson took to social media to announce his first book with Miley Cyrus. "I am so beyond stoked," the “Home to Mama” singer posted, together with some snaps and a clip of the book, on Instagram. "Becoming a published writer is the ideal beginning to a new decade and the highest of honours,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson have yet to comment on the split reports.
