Miley Cyrus Jokes About Tequila In Her Dress At Met Gala

Liam Hemsworth attended his first Met Gala with his wife, Miley Cyrus. The two celebrities had fun at the event, and the singer joked about the things they did in a recent interview.

Cyrus wore a beautiful, sparkling green dress to the Met Gala. In an interview with Vogue, the singer joked about carrying tequila in the big opening at the back of her dress that could be used as a massive pocket. She later confirmed that she was only joking and that she wasn’t carrying any alcohol during the event.

Both Hemsworth and Cyrus are known for their wild antics, and the actor loves to play tricks on people. The singer said that her husband had put his phone in her dress opening without her knowledge.

“It’s cuz he’s Australian,” Cyrus said. “He thinks it’s like a joey pouch or something.” The singer later pointed out that this was her husband’s first Met Gala, so he doesn’t know about the extravagant dresses that are common at the event.

Talking about this being the first time Cyrus is being accompanied by her husband, she said that it “feels good” to have Hemsworth with her in an event that she has gone to alone in the past. The singer joked that she wore high heels because she had someone to hold her if she falls.

The dress that Cyrus wore was from Yves Saint Laurent. She also wore an emerald and diamond bracelet to finish off the look, People reported. Hemsworth on the other hand chose a monochromatic look with an all black outfit.

Some of the other celebrity couples at the Met Gala were Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas; Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas; and Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, ET Online reported. Cyrus and Hemsworth made it to the list of the “cutest couples” at the Met Gala.
