Miley Cyrus Skips Met Gala For Liam Hemsworth, Flashes Engagement Ring While Holding Boyfriend’s Hand

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were spotted holding hands while walking through Los Angeles airport after a trip to Australia, media reports said Monday. The "Wrecking Ball" singer also flashed her diamond ring, days after Hemsworth denied that the two are engaged.

Cyrus and Hemsworth showed off some PDA amid rumors that the two have ended their rekindled romance. Cyrus, who sported a casual look, tried to cover her face as the paparazzi approached to take photos of the two.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reported that the 23-year-old singer skipped the Met Gala “to prove her love” to Hemsworth.

“Miley would have loved to have gone to the Met Gala and knows she would have totally rocked it with this year’s theme of Fashion in the Age of Technology. However, being with Liam was more important,” a source told Hollywood Life. “It was important for her to let him know that he and their relationship is her top priority. She wouldn’t want to be anywhere else than with him right now.”

Several rumors about Hemsworth and Cyrus started making the rounds since the latter was spotted last year sporting the 3.5-carat engagement ring that the Melbourne actor gave her in 2012.

Over the last few months, rumors have surfaced that Hemsworth was unhappy with Cyrus' bad habits and also warned her of ending their relationship if she did not give up her addiction.

However, Cyrus has been recently spending time with Hemsworth and his family, giving rise to speculation that the two may be planning to take their relationship a step forward.
