‘A Million Little Things’ Season 2, Episode 6 Synopsis, What Happens In ‘Unleashed?’
Even as some moments bring them joy and other hurdles are cleared on a path to recovering their lives, Jon’s loved ones are faced with something new that could threaten the stability they have managed, and change everything that’s left forever on “A Million Little Things.”
Gary (James Roday) and Maggie (Allison Miller) have been struggling to figure out what their relationship means outside of cancer, and the reveal from her mother that Eric (Jason Ritter) has her deceased brother’s heart had only added to their struggles. However, according to a synopsis for Season 2, Episode 5, “Unleashed,” they could wind up losing everything for good when their tensions rise to an unprecedented level.
“Gary’s growing tension with Maggie comes to a head as she accidentally lets Colin out while she’s on the phone with Eric,” the synopsis reads.
Perhaps the only thing Gary loves more than the little family he has built with his friends, Maggie and of course, the Bruins, is his dog, Colin. If he runs off because of Maggie’s distraction from Eric, Gary isn’t going to handle it well. If something happens to the dog because he’s loose, it will only make things even more difficult. Gary won’t handle this well—and may see it as a betrayal.
However, a photo from the episode seems to indicate that Maggie still may not figure out that she needs to either cut ties with Eric or open up to Gary more if she wants to make it up to him and fix their relationship, as she’s seen having what appears to be a deep conversation with the other man.
Of course, while everything may be falling apart for the couple, things may start coming together in a new way for other members of the group, as Delilah (Stephanie Szostak) seems to officially begin moving on from the trauma of Jon’s suicide and her affair with Eddie (David Giuntoli).
“Delilah does a podcast on suicide, which helps her open up to Andrew,” the synopsis states.
Will Maggie and Gary be able to get past their newest problems, or will they also need to find ways to move on in the future?
“A Million Little Things” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
