The official website released the synopsis and spoiler stills for "The Millionaire Detective – Balance: Unlimited" Episode 8 teasing what happens next in the Kambe family case.

After Takei reveals crucial intel, Daisuke locks him up in his basement for further interrogation. But Takei refuses to speak anymore due to pressure from the higher-ups.

Meanwhile, Daisuke learns the reason behind why HEUSC was acting strange and withholding information. The spoilers suggest it is linked to his parents’ research. One of the spoilers stills shows Kato holding a photograph of Sayuri, Daisuke and Shigemaru. In the episode, Kato looks into the documents collected by Cho-san and finds an important photograph.

With the mystery around the Kambe family and recent events at the embassy and Imura’s murder slowly unfolding, fans will get to know more about Daisuke’s intention. Moreover, this case is likely to reveal why Daisuke became a cop in the first place. In the last episode, he tells Kato and Cho-san that he is looking for answers. He wants to know who killed his mother.
