If fan voting is any indication, Miss U.S.A. Alyssa Campanella may have a chance at bringing the Miss Universe 2011 crown home -- just a day after the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Jersey-born Campanella has the beauty, brains, and charm to take the top title -- and according to the results of an online poll, she just might do that. Ms. Campanella was ranked in the top ten fan picks to win the crown.

The 60th Annual Miss Universe Pageant will be broadcast live from Credicard Hall in SãoPaulo, Brazil on September 12 at 9 p.m. ET. A live Spanish simulcast will air on Telemundo Network.

The 2011 Miss Universe pageant final event will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sept. 12. The contestants will compete in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview. The winner will succeed the outgoing Miss Universe, Mexico's Ximena Navarrete.
