‘Modern Family’ Stars Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould Are The Cutest Onscreen Siblings At 2016 Critics Choice Awards [PHOTOS]

“Modern Family” star Ariel Winter recently shared an adorable photo with her onscreen younger brother, Nolan Gould, while they were at the 2016 Critics Choice Awards.

On her Instagram account, the 18-year-old actress was photographed with Gould, who appeared to be her date for the event. In the snap, Winter’s hand is on Gould’s chest, while the actor’s arm is wrapped around the former’s waist. The co-stars also wore matching all-black ensembles.

Gould also shared a similar snap on his social media account, and he and Winter can be seen smiling in the closeup photo.

“Modern Family” was nominated in the Best Comedy Series category at the 2016 Critics Choice, but “Silicon Valley” was the one that received the award.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that “Modern Family” could be wrapping up soon. In an interview with People, cast member Eric Stonestreet said that the hit TV sitcom may only have one more season left. “All of the cast, we’re now sort of in the twilight of the show. Maybe we have one more season. Maybe we have two more seasons. Nobody really knows. So I think now what’s fueling everyone is that we’ve had this great opportunity from the last seven, eight years, and it’s coming to an end,” he said.

Stonestreet added that their goal now is to make sure that “Modern Family” will end on a high note regardless of when it would be. “We’ve shot more than we’re going to shoot in the future. We’re at the end of the series, in a sense, that I think what keeps us going now is that we want to go out as strong, and positive, and great as we possibly can,” he said.

“Modern Family” Season 8 will air its 9th episode, titled “Snow Ball,” on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
