Moms Get Free Goodies From Shopkeeper By Letting Him Rape Their Kids; 50 Videos Found

A 48-year-old shopkeeper has ended up behind bars after police found over 50 videos of him raping children. Two women were also arrested for allowing the suspect to rape their minor daughters in exchange for free goods from his shop.

The incident, that happened in the Indian city of Chennai, came to light after police raided the accused's shop Saturday, reported The Times Of India.

The raid was held following a tip that he was stacking up banned tobacco products.

The officers, who checked the accused's mobile phone to find the contact details of the tobacco supplier, were shocked to unearth videos featuring minor girls. Though the police initially thought he had downloaded pornographic content on his device, they soon concluded that the accused had recorded himself abusing children.

A preliminary investigation revealed the role of the two women in the crime. According to police, they were sisters and had been shopping from the accused's store for some time.

One of the women had an affair with Perumal, following which she introduced him to her sister. Both the women then allowed Perumal to rape their children, in exchange for free goods from his shop.

He filmed the rape of the two children and three of their friends as well. "These three children were too young to tell their parents what was happening though Perumal had been raping them on several occasions for more than six months," a senior police official told The Times Of India.

The parents of three other children who were raped allegedly told police that the arrested women were taking care of their children when they went to work.

"It is a shocking case. If the inspector had not checked his mobile phone, the case wouldn’t have come to light, and the man would have abused more children,” Karthikeyan said.

A similar case was reported recently in Indiana wherein a 76-year-old man was arrested for allegedly paying an Iowa mother to send him pictures and videos of her having sex with her 8-year-old son.

Police said the woman allegedly sent Winchip on July 23 six photos and seven videos of her performing various sex acts on her son, including one image that allegedly showed her face. According to authorities, Winchip allegedly wired the mother $187 the following day.
