With the recent launch of "Monster Hunter Rise" on the Nintendo Switch, players could easily find a long list of tutorials, guides and how-tos online. However, some information, which might appear inconsequential to others, could really be crucial in playing the game down the line. With that, here are some secret details and hidden features every "Monster Hunter Rise" player should know.
Players can only do village quests solo while gathering hub quests can be played on multiplayer. Additionally, the story is not limited to village quests, which means that players have to switch over to hub quest to complete the story. Aside from those, when players' village quest level reaches 4-stars, they will begin receiving special license tests.
Completing these difficult quests will increase players' hub quest level by one rank. Unknown to many "Monster Hunter Rise" players, if they look closely at the poster behind the housekeeper, they will see a cat. Interacting with it will allow them to speak to Fukashigi the Informant. It is the furry pal who will provide players with tips on their quests.
For players looking for ways to farm materials from monsters, there is now an easy way to do it. In "Monster Hunter Rise" Expedition Mode, monsters respawn every several minutes, making it easy for players to farm materials without the need to leave the zone or wait much longer.
The same goes for fishing. Players do not need to leave the area so the fish could respawn. Interestingly, Whetfish, a common spawn, is handy since players can use it to sharpen weapons.
Moreover, each map in the game features sub-camps. However, many players are not aware of this fact. These places serve as spots for resting and re-supplying. Players should keep an eye on the locations of these sub-camps while doing quests. Players should also check the Buddy Plaza, behind the tree where the shrine is located. They would see vines where they could climb up. On top, there is a Cohoot Nest, which offers free rare items.
"Monster Hunter Rise" players can also get a secret scrap. This is available in the Flooded Forest area, on the upper levels of the tower, on the cracked wall. Players need Barrel Bombs to destroy the cracked walls.
