With The Game Awards (TGA) set to happen in a few days, more details about "Elden Ring" have surfaced online. This time, they claim that the game is almost done and FromSoftware is just waiting to show it to the public.

New details about the highly anticipated and heavily rumored game "Elden Ring" keep popping up online, including tips from reliable industry insiders. One of them is Lance McDonald, who is the man behind the successful "Bloodborne" PS4 Pro patch that allowed gamers to enjoy it on 60 FPS. According to him, FromSoftware is almost finished with the game and is just waiting to launch it. McDonald cited contractors allegedly working on the game as his source.

Aside from McDonald, Imran Kahn of Kinda Funny shared in a tweet that there are some interesting clues suggesting that an "Elden Ring" trailer is coming soon. Kahn cited that several Bandai Namco marketing people have been tweeting, retweeting and even unretweeting things related to TGA. This could mean that the game might make an appearance at TGA 2020.

Earlier this week, various gaming sites quoted industry insider taepo's comments on a ResetEra thread. The insider reportedly mentioned that "Elden Ring" was initially scheduled to arrive in 2021, within the same launch window as "Sekiro: Die Twice," FromSoftware's previous release. The game was released in March, so "Elden Ring" was supposedly set to launch within the first quarter of 2021.

Tipster taepo also mentioned that because of the pandemic, the game might be delayed for another two or three months. Aside from this, developers also experienced some difficulties when they decided to work from home. The video game insider, however, mentioned on the same thread that "Elden Ring" would be released in 2021.

It is worth noting that these are unofficial claims, so fans must temper their expectations about the release window of the game. FromSoftware has not yet made any announcements or comments related to "Elden Ring" at the time of this publication.

"Elden Ring" is currently in development and was initially designed to release on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. According to rumors, it might also launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
