Most Influential People: Time Names Pippa Middleton, Adele, Tim Tebow To Top 100 List In 2012 [PHOTOS]

Every year, Time magazine creates a list of the 100 most influential people of the past year, rounding up a diverse group of people who inspire us, entertain us, challenge us and change our world, Time said.

For 2012, Time chose a diverse group of people from politicians, to athletes, to singers, to artists, including the likes of Pippa Middleton, Adele, Tim Tebow and Rihanna to name a few.

All those influential individuals named on the list also get a write-up by a celebrity or notable person, who finds them inspiring too, to accompany their photo.

Author Catherine Mayer wrote about Pippa Middleton and her sister, who has taken the world by fire since Kate married Prince William last year.

The Middletons have become avatars of aspiration, Mayer wrote. Other women aim to dress like them, to emulate their easy athleticism and their more problematic slenderness.

Turn on any radio station in the world and you will probably hear Adele, Pink wrote about her fellow singer who became the first artist to have three number one songs on the Billboard Hot 100. Go to Mars right now and I'm pretty sure if there is life on that planet, they're playing Adele.

Switching over to sports, Tim Tebow made an impact on the country when he coined his infamous pose known as Tebowing. Fellow sports star Jeremy Lin wrote that Tebow embodies in his life off the field that truly set him apart. He is unashamed of his convictions and faith, and he lives a life that consistently reflects his values, day in and day out.

Fashion designer Stella McCartney, the daughter of Paul McCartney and designer of the outfits for the 2012 Olympics, wrote about Rihanna, whose style she likes above all.

She's one of the coolest, hottest, most talented, most liked, most listened to, most followed, most impressive artists at work today, but she does it in her own stride, McCartney wrote.

Others on the list included President Obama, Hilary Clinton, Louis C.K., Chelsea Handler, Viola Davis, Mitt Romney, Claire Danes and Tilda Swinton, to name a few.
