Mother Breaks 5-Month-Old's Bones After Boyfriend Cheated On Her
A mother attacked her 5-month-old son and broke his bones after finding out that her boyfriend cheated on her, the Sun reported Wednesday. Quintina Lashay Morgan, 20, was arrested after doctors at a hospital in Arkansas found the baby was badly injured.
Medics told police the child suffered fractures on his skull, ribs, and legs due to the attack. Authorities said that during the attack, the mother posted a series of disturbing messages on Facebook. The incident took place sometime between mid-October and mid-November 2017. Last week, the Pulaski County Circuit Court in Little Rock jailed Morgan for eight years after she pleaded guilty to first-degree domestic battery.
The court heard about the numerous Facebook posts the woman posted ranting out in anger at being cheated on by an unnamed partner.
“BABYMAMAS can have their BABY DADDY anytime they want. 9/10 baby daddys are liars don’t let him fool you he love his baby mama," one of the post read, according to the Sun. Another post read: “Never Cheat On Yo Girl For a Temporary Hoe.”
The court also learned last week that Morgan had a violent past. She had previously been ordered to spend five years on probation, while also taking anger management lessons. The charges came after Morgan bit her sister Lashonda Martin, 22, on her back and also brandished a knife during an argument.
Last month, a Kentucky father was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and one count of abuse of a minor. Sean Dykes, 24, attacked his 3-month-old daughter in a fit of rage. According to medical records, Dykes assaulted the infant, causing 27 fractures on her skull, ribs, spine, arms, legs, hands and feet. The victim also suffered retinal hemorrhaging, bruises to the face, head and stomach and possible internal injuries.
