Motorola U.S. has officially started the preorders of Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones. Leading U.S. retailers such as Best Buy and B&H Photo are offering $50 gift cards to the customers of Moto G4 and G4 Plus.

Both the Motorola smartphones are unlocked and can be used on all the major carriers of the U.S. such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. The estimated delivery date for Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus is mentioned as July 12.

Customers will be able to purchase the Moto G 2016 phones through Motorola.com, Best Buy, Amazon, B&H Photo and Walmart. From July 28, the new Moto G 2016 models will be also available through Republic Wireless.

The 16 GB Moto G4 is priced at $199 and its 32 GB variant is available for $229. The Moto G4 Plus with 16 GB storage is priced at $249 whereas its 32 GB model costs $299. Best Buy and B&H Photo are offering $50 gift cards on the all variants of Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones.

Both the smartphones are available in color options like Dark Moon and Metallic Silver. Through MotoMaker customization tool, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus purchasers can customize the accent, phone startup greeting message, and color and engraving of the rear panel before the device.

The Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus sport common features such as 5.5-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 617 chipsets, 2 GB of RAM, 5-megapixel selfie cameras, stock version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, and 3,000 mAh batteries. The Moto G4’s 64 GB model has 4 GB of RAM and a 16-megapixel camera.

The Moto G4 features a 13-megapixel camera. It lacks a fingerprint sensor, a feature that is present in all the editions of Moto G4 Plus.
