Motorola announced the Moto Z flagship smartphone on Thursday and on June 14, OnePlus is expected to unleash its flagship, the OnePlus 3 smartphone. Here's a comparison between Moto Z and OnePlus 3, based on its rumored specs, feature and price.

Design and Display

The Motorola Moto Z and OnePlus 3 both feature metal unibody design. The dimensions of OnePlus 3 are not available yet, but the Moto Z with a thickness of 5.19 mm is the thinnest Android flagship smartphone available. Moreover, the Moto Z supports MotoMods accessories such as extra battery, external speakers, projectors and more.

The Moto Z has a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen that supports Quad HD resolution. However, the 5.5-inch AMOLED display of OnePlus 3 is expected to support full HD resolution.

Chipset, RAM and Storage

The Moto Z and OnePlus 3 are both powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset. The Moto Z features 4 GB of RAM and storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB. It also supports additional storage through microSD card.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 3 is expected to arrive in 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants. Both RAM variants are rumored to be available in three storage versions of 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB. Rumors suggest that OnePlus 3 will not feature a microSD card slot.

Camera, Software and Other Features

Moto Z features a 13-megapixel camera on its rear panel. It is equipped with a dual-LED flash, OIS autofocus. Its selfie camera of 5-megapixel is coupled with front-facing LED flash. OnePlus is rumored to arrive with a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS and dual LED flash. For shooting selfies, it is expected to include an 8-megapixel camera.

Both the smartphones feature Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Moto Z includes few Moto apps whereas the Android M will be customized with OxygenOS on OnePlus 3. Both the smartphones feature USB Type-C, NFC and fingerprint reader. The Moto Z does not feature a 3.5 mm audio jack and it supports USB Type-C earphone connectivity on its USB Type-C port.

Battery and Price

The slim design of the Moto Z has allowed its manufactures to include a 2,600 mAh battery. The OnePlus 3 is expected to arrive with a huge battery of 3,450 mAh capacity. Lenovo is yet to declare the pricing of Moto Z. However, rumors suggest that it will cost around $599. On other hand, the base model of OnePlus 3 that includes 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage is speculated to cost $305.
