Motorola is launching its own line of TVs that run on Android. Here’s everything we know about Motorola’s new product line.

Lenovo-owned Motorola has unveiled its plans to launch a new line of products: TVs that run on Android. TechRadar reported that the new TVs were unveiled alongside the new budget smartphone offering, the Moto E6s.

Motorola is planning on launching six new TV models. All of these will be launched in India in partnership with the country’s leading online retailers, Flipkart, which has licensed the brand name for the TV. All units will be manufactured and distributed in India.

All six TVs will become available on Sept. 29, which also marks Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sale. Motorola’s selection of TVs feature an HD TV on the lower end, and 4K UHD TV on the higher end. All TVs use an IPS display panel and supports HDR10, Dolby Vision and autotuneX display technology.

The TVs are powered by a quad-core Cortex A53 chipset with Mali 450 GPU. This is backed by 2.25GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. All of them are equipped with a 30W front-firing speaker system that has support for Dolby Audio and DTS TruSurround.

All of the TVs come powered with stock Android 9.0 TV. They also have a built-in 2.4GHZ Wi-Fi module for fast internet connectivity.

Motorola’s TVs are designed tobe able to run Android games. They all come bundled with an Android TV gamepad that makes playing popular Android game titles easy and enjoyable. The gamepad looks like a traditional Xbox controller, but the XYAB buttons are more colorful and akin to an SNES controller.

Of course, the TVs also come bundled with a regular remote control. This remote supports Bluetooth and IR input. It also has dedicated buttons designed to quickly launch Google Play, YouTube, Netflix and the Google Assistant.

Motorola has designed its TVs to be available across price segments. Prices are Rs.13,999 (around $200) for the lower-end 32-inch HD TV, Rs 24,999 (about $350) for the 43-inch Full HD TV, Rs 29,999 (about $420) for 43-inch 4K UHD TV, Rs 33,999 (about $480) for 50-inch 4K UHD TV, Rs 39,999 (about $560) for 55-inch UHD variant and Rs 64,999 (about $910) for the 65-inch UHD 4K model.
