Movember 2011 officially comes to an end on Wednesday, after a month of moustaches and Mo Bros and Mo Sistas raising millions of dollars for men's health.

Along with participants from all over the world, celebrities like Brody Jenner, Kevin Connolly and Mark Hoppus also pitched in this year.

Like previous years, the sports world also dominated with teams of moustaches.

The National Hockey League alone has raised close to $200,000 for Movember, thanks to teams like the Anaheim Ducks and the Nashville Predators.

Last week, Canadian superstar Justin Bieber promoted Movember on The View, when the ladies of the morning talk show asked about his facial hair.

Famous Mo Sistas have also been raising millions for Movember. In October, actress Malin Akerman (Watchmen) made a video called It's Moustache Season and has appeared at several charity events, a Movember spokesperson told IB Times.

Since 2003, the Movember foundation has raised awareness and millions of dollars around the world for men's health issues like prostate cancer and depression. In 2007, the US chapter of the organization was created, followed by chapters in Canada, the UK and South Africa.

With donations still rolling in, Canada's Movember chapter is leading the way with more than $33 million raised. Australia is second with $22 million, followed by the UK at $21 million, and the US at $11 million.

On Twitter, millions of Movember participants have been dominating news feeds with last minute donation requests. Hashtags like #movember and #goodbyemovember have been generously used by Twitter users.

The early numbers have already surpassed last year's figures. In 2010, more than 64,000 Americans raised $7.5 million for Movember, as proceeds were split between Lance Armstrong's LIVESTRONG foundation and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Brody Jenner
According to Brody Jenner’s official “Mo Space” page, the reality TV star has raised more than $1,500 for his team CRD. On Nov. 21, Jenner took to Twitter to update his fans on his Movember status, writing “My stash and hair have now gone to a new level of seedy lol GO MOVEMBER!!!!” Movember.com
Kevin Connolly
Kevin Connolly is participating in Movember for the first time. And already, the “Entourage” star has raised more than $17,000 for the cause – the top celebrity fundraiser. “The more people who are aware, the more money raised, the more lives we help save whether it’s through early prevention or treatment. Bottom line,” Connolly told the Movember organization last week. Movember.com
Mark Foster
The lead singer of Foster the People is raising money on behalf of his group, appropriately titled “Foster the Mustache.” The team has collected more than $1,600 so far. Movember.com
Mike Fisher
Mike Fisher, known to some as a Nashville Predator and others as Carrie Underwood’s husband, has helped the National Hockey League raise close to $200,000 for Movember this year. With her donation of $1,000, Underwood wrote somewhat of an encouraging message to her moustached husband: “When can you shave? Your wife would like to kiss you again! You’re looking quite creepy Mr. Fisher!” Movember.com
Morgan Spurlock
Morgan Spurlock is shaving off his famous ‘Mo and donating $5,000 to the cause, a Movember spokesperson told IB Times. Movember.com
Mark Hoppus
While the Blink 182 singer has not been updating his Mo Space page regularly (like most Movember participants), Mark Hoppus and team “Awesome 5000) have raised close to $4,000 for the cause. Hoppus himself even made a self-donation of $172. Movember.com
Kellan Lutz
While Lutz does not own an official Mo Space Movember page, the “Twilight” star has been supporting the cause all month long. On Tuesday, Lutz posted a new photo on his Who Say page, writing “Movember equals MoHawk month right? Or was it Mustache? . . .
