The 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards celebrated the very best of entertainment, with "Euphoria," "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and "Loki" bagging most awards at the ceremony Sunday night.

The event, held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, was hosted by Vanessa Hudgens, reported Billboard.

The award show was first formed in 1992 as the MTV Movie Awards. It was later renamed the MTV Movie and TV Awards in 2017 to include works in television.

The 2022 show was originally announced as a two-night event but was retooled to honor top favorites in both scripted and unscripted categories in one star-studded ceremony, Entertainment Tonight reported.
