In the all-new season of “My Big Fat Fabulous Life,” Whitney Way Thore is going on new adventures, mostly in Hawaii. Then when she finally returns home, she’ll hear wedding bells with a mystery man. Unfortunately, there’s going to be a lot of drama once she tries the wedding gown on.

In the latest sneak peek at “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” Season 5, Thore is first seen showing off her moves in the “first big girl dance class outside of Greensboro.” While the dance lesson appears to be all fun and exciting, Thore is seen struggling to stretch her body in one scene. “I’m suffocating in my own fat,” she says while her trainer helps her get into a stretching position.

In another scene, Thore gets shocked when she’s informed that she and her friends are heading to Hawaii. The preview then features some scenes from their tropical getaway, which involves dancing with some hunky men and surfing rapid waves.

Although most of the snippets feature Thore enjoying and having a blast, there are also parts that display the struggles and drama that are about to go down when Season 5 airs next year. For instance, Thore is going to join a 5K run, only to find out later that her body, especially her legs, are going to hurt so bad.

Based on the teaser trailer, it seems the highlight of this season is Thore’s newfound love. “I met a really amazing guy. He only loves fat women,” she tells her friend Ashley in the preview. When Thore gets the chance to try fitting her wedding dress, her mother exclaims, “You are going to make a gorgeous bride.”

Unfortunately, Thore’s happiness is cut short when she receives a call from her beau. She may have gotten some bad news from her man as she is seen getting mad and emotional while saying, “Clearly I cannot depend on you … Did you love me?”

When “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” returns, Thore won’t just be dealing with her own relationship woes. Apparently, her friends Buddy and Heather’s romance is also falling apart. “Buddy continues to throw out small breadcrumbs to her. It is positively cruel,” Thore says of her friends’ rough patch.

“My Big Fat Fabulous Life” Season 5 premieres on Jan. 2, Tuesday, at 8/7c on TLC.
