Maren Morris just said “yes” to her now-fiancé and fellow country star, Ryan Hurd.

On Sunday, the singer-songwriter shared a photo of her engagement ring on Instagram. In the snap, she can be seen sitting on the lap of her fiancé, holding a Corona Light. Her left hand is on his lap, showing off the diamond band on her ring finger. Morris, 27, captioned the photo, “yes,” along with a ring emoji.

On the other hand, Hurd, 32, shared a snap of him and Morris enjoying a boat ride on his Instagram. He captioned it with “7/3/17,” which is the date he proposed to his would-be wife.

According to People, before Morris and Hurd began dating in December 2015, they had already been friends for years. The Grammy winner and singer-songwriter first met in 2013 during a writing session, after the “80’s Mercedes” singer moved to Music City where she scored a publishing deal. The writing session produced Tim McGraw’s country ballad, “Last Turn Home.” He decided to record it the very next day.

“We were both at different publishing companies, and our publishers’ job is to fill our calendars up, so they just randomly put us together on a write one day,” Morris told the publication. “We had been friends for only a couple of years, but there was always this writing chemistry in the room, and eventually, the timing of it was undeniable. We had such a foundation built off writing so many songs over the years that we were like, ‘Why are we avoiding this?’”

Morris is one of Hurd’s inspirations in his works. According to Morris’ fiancé, “Love In A Bar” tells the story of his relationship with the “I Could Use A Love Song” singer. He recalled how they met over writing songs when he was just starting to enjoy his success. They would then go to a bar in midtown and enjoy a couple of beers together.

“The imagery in ‘Love In a Bar’ — the cigarettes and a Corona — those are vivid pictures in my head and I’m giving the listener a version of that in their head,” Hurd explained. “It’s such an expression sonically. That’s who I was at 28 years old and that’s the thing my heart was chasing and the thing my music was gravitating toward.”
