'My Hero Academia' Chapter 296 Postponed: New Release Date, Preview, Spoilers

Izuku Midoriya (Deku) sees something surprising about Shigaraki in the final moments of "My Hero Academia" Chapter 295. Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out about Shigaraki's future. The new chapter is delayed and it is releasing only in 2021.

According to Manga Plus, Chapter 296 is postponed to Jan. 3. Twitter user Atsushi shared a short preview of the upcoming chapter.

In the last chapter, Deku wakes up and he remains badly wounded after Dabi's Jet Burn attack. As soon as he is up, Deku looks for Todoroki. He is relieved to see him alive.

Suddenly, he feels a stabbing sensation in his head. He wonders if it is All For One's Quirk, named Danger Detection. Deku remembers All Might making notes about the Quirk.

Deku remains confused as he never trained with this Quirk and it just bursts out like Black Whip. However, he finds it difficult to remain conscious as the Quirk is taking a toll on him.

The scene shifts to Mirio and Mr. Compress' battle. Mr. Compress knows that he needs to buy more time for Spinner and Shigaraki.

Mr. Compress explains that upon arrival, he saw several Nomu in the distance and he knows Shigaraki can control their movements.

However, Shigaraki is in a trance-like state, but if they can rouse him, he can command the Nomu to advance toward the battlefield. He knows only Spinner can revive Shigaraki and he is merely the assistant while they are the key members of the league.

Later, Shigaraki moves and the Nomu start responding to his call. However, it is not Shigaraki but All For One who praises Shigaraki for gathering decent friends.

All For One knows that heart is power and the more he embraces the source, the more his consciousness takes command over their symbiotic bond.

He advises Shigaraki to never let the hatred die. Later, Spinner asks Shigaraki about Mr. Compress, Gigantomachia and Toga. All For One tells Spinner that Shigaraki has lost the battle to him and Endeavor.

Toward the end of the chapter, All For One tells Deku that when Shigaraki's body is perfected, they will meet again. The Paranormal Liberation War arc is nearing its conclusion as Deku and Shigaraki's final battle is set to begin soon.
