'My Hero Academia' Chapter 298 Preview, Spoilers: Army Of Darkness

With All For One announcing the arrival of the "greatest demon lord of all," the heroes are struggling against the sudden collapse in "My Hero Academia" Chapter 298.

Tartarus, the counter quirk maximum security special prison, remains in a highly compromised state. In the upcoming chapter, All For One is set to execute his plan to unleash the army of darkness into the world.

Twitter user Atsushi shared a brief synopsis hinting at "My Hero Academia" Chapter 298's plot.

"Army Of Darkness - Unleashed into the world," reads the brief summary, as tweeted by Atsushi.

Tartarus is a maximum-security detention facility located in the open waters. It houses some of the most dangerous villains and regardless of their punishment status, the prisoners are heavily monitored inside the prison.

The prison consists of six cell blocks and the prisoners are locked up based on the threat level. The more dangerous the person, the deeper they are kept inside Tartarus. The prison is the dark side of society and it is believed that individuals imprisoned there never come out alive.

In the previous chapter, the Bronze Gate of the prison contacts the Mainland Gate. The gate is guarded by Gyges and Briareos. Gyges alerts the control tower to trigger a code red security alert. He informs about his brother, Briareos' current status. He reveals Shigaraki and the High-end Nomu killed his brother.

The next panel shows the deepest cell of the prison, and the guards discuss a new individual named Gigantomachia. They are frustrated about letting such dangerous villains live. One of the guards wonders if the heroes can kill Gigantomachia instead of imprisoning him.

Soon, the siren goes off alerting the guards to remain on high alert as they start sealing off every floor. Meanwhile, Shigaraki's fight to take back his body from All For One continues.

He tells Shigaraki to take a good long rest as the hyper regeneration ability is not working well. The tussle between the two continues as the chapter concludes with All For One declaring the demon lord's arrival.

"My Hero Academia" Chapter 298 is scheduled to release Sunday. The chapter will be available on Manga Plus and Viz.
