U.A. High School students strive to become heroes. The official promo trailer for "My Hero Academia" Season 5 has been released teasing the Joint Training arc.

The official Twitter account of the anime series has released the trailer announcing "My Hero Academia" Season 5’s premiere in spring 2021. The teaser showcases Class 1-A facing Class 1-B in the joint training battle.

The showrunners are yet to announce the release date. However, the spring season of anime starts in April and it is likely fans will be treated with new episodes in April 2021.

The preview trailer for "My Hero Academia" Season 5 shows scenes from Chapter 195 of the manga, which is titled "Clash! Class A vs. Class B!"

In the chapter, the students are pitted against each other for a series of matches.

The training will happen at the Athletic Grounds Gamma, which is a training area designed to resemble an industrial facility. The area lacks wide-open spaces and has several blind spots making it perfect for training future heroes.

Both classes will divide into teams of four and fight against another team. The first match will see heroes trying to capture a team of bad guys. The students are advised to think of the opposing team as enemies. The heroes need to capture four of their opponents to win the match.

In "My Hero Academia" Chapter 195, each team has a lockup prison and when someone’s thrown in the cage, they will be counted as captured. The teams start from their home bases and the time limit is set at 20 minutes per match. The rest of the chapter focuses on forming the teams.

Class 1-A comprises of Mina Ashido, Tsuyu Asui, Tenya Iida, Yuga Aoyama, Ochaco Uraraka, Eijiro Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, Mashirao Ojiro, Kyoka Jiro, Rikido Sato, Koji Koda, Mezo Shoji, Shoto Todoraki, Toru Hagakure, Fumikage Tokoyami, Hanta Sero, Momo Yaoyorozu, Minoru Mineta, Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya.

Meanwhile, Class 1-B students are Sen Kaibara, Yosetsu Awase, Togaru Kamakiri, Shihai Kuroiro, Ibara Shiozaki, Yui Kodai, Itsuka Kendo, Kinoko Komori, Kosei Tsuburaba, Pony Tsunotori, Nirengeki Shoda, Jurota Shishida, Manga Fukidashi, Juzo Honenuki, Setsuna Tokage, Tetsutetsu, Hiryu Rin, Reiko Yanagi, Neito Monoma and Kojiro Bondo.
