A naked 28-year-old woman was arrested in Pinellas County, Florida, this week after she drove a golf cart through a police perimeter.

Officers with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office were in an armed standoff with a teenage boy at a residence in Dunedin just after midnight Monday when Jessica Smith drove past several patrol cars on a golf cart, The Smoking Gun reported, citing a police complaint.

Police reportedly gave Smith verbal commands to leave the area. But she allegedly proceeded to approach the house, where the armed suspect had taken shelter on the roof, according to the document.

Officers assisted Smith out of the golf cart and handcuffed her after she allegedly refused to exit the vehicle, police said.

Police said in the complaint that Smith "had a distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person and she was completely nude."

Though no officers were injured, Smith's actions allegedly "put multiple deputies at risk" of being shot at, police said.

Smith, whose home address was listed as a residence in Roxbury, Massachusetts, in the complaint, was charged with resisting an officer without violence — a misdemeanor. She was released on her own recognizance from the Pinellas County jail later that morning, according to the report.

Smith's parents have a property in northern Florida, not far from where she was arrested, according to The Smoking Gun.

The gunman was identified as 18-year-old Myles Abbott, KIRO reported. He was ultimately apprehended by SWAT team officers after he kept police at bay for several hours.

Abbott faces multiple charges, including loitering and prowling, aggravated assault on law enforcement, felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting an officer without violence and grand theft, WTVT reported.

In July, 42-year-old Heather Kennedy was arrested in Charlotte County, Florida, after she trespassed on an elderly retiree's Port Charlotte home and swam naked in his pool.

When he returned home from a doctor's appointment on July 19, James Clark, 69, found clothing in the lanai by his pool that he recognized did not belong to him. He soon found Kennedy naked in the pool and called police.

Police arrived shortly and attempted to make contact with Kennedy while she was still in the pool, but she allegedly did not want to identify herself or explain why she was there. Additionally, she was hostile toward officers and told them to leave her alone.

Authorities were later able to handcuff Kennedy, and she was booked into Charlotte County Sheriff's Office jail on one count each of misdemeanor trespassing and resisting without violence.
