- Campbell and Doronin separated seven years ago after five years of dating
Naomi Campbell's billionaire ex-boyfriend, Vladislav Doronin, has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the supermodel.
In the court documents obtained by TMZ, Doronin, 57, alleges that the Campbell, 50, refused to pay back the money he loaned to her over the years, though the exact amount has not been confirmed. Aside from the money, the model is also allegedly holding on to some of the Russian businessman's unspecified belongings that are worth over $3 million.
Campbell and Doronin dated from 2008 to 2013.
Doronin, who made his fortune as a real estate developer, often showered Campbell with extravagant gifts during their five-year relationship. The owner and chairman of Aman Resorts took her on trips on his yacht and getaways to his private home on Cleopatra Island in Turkey.
When Campbell and Doronin split seven years ago, a source claimed that their separation had something to do with the billionaire being "too swept up in the celebrity lifestyle" that Campbell is part of.
"In many ways their relationship is like a business arrangement. Naomi brings glamour to his hotels and properties, and he treats her extremely well. But they spend a lot of time apart due to work commitments," the insider told Page Six in 2013.
A tipster also claimed that he was seen partying in New York after their split. Doronin was spotted at the Rose Bar at the Gramercy Park Hotel flirting with a blonde.
At the time, Campbell's career started to skyrocket with her TV show, "The Face.”
Meanwhile, Campbell had a chat with comedian, actor and producer Chris Rock on Tuesday, Sept. 1, via her YouTube channel. The two recalled an incident where Mike Tyson, who reportedly had a fling with Campbell, allegedly tried to push her out of a moving car.
"I think Mike pushed you out of a moving car one night … I think you gave somebody your number and he lost his head," Rock said during the interview for her series, "No Filter with Naomi Campbell."
"You sure it wasn’t me that pushed him?" she replied. "That’s if I even got in the car with him … It’s a good thing we’re all grown-ups today and we’re family … It’s nice to see him blossom."
