Naomie Olindo will be reuniting to "Southern Charm" after skipping the show for two seasons.
Olindo, 29, is coming back for "Southern Charm" Season 8 after leaving the show during its sixth installment. Despite her return, the viewers might not see her regularly.
"The understanding is Naomie will be on the show, but not as a full-time cast member," an unnamed source told Us Weekly. "Her role is more of a friend on the show."
The "Southern Charm" cast members are thrilled to have her back on the show. They have already reunited because they started filming for the upcoming season last week.
"She’s excited to be back even if it’s part-time," the tipster added. "It’ll be interesting for viewers to see her back on now that she’s single."
Olindo recently split from Metul Shah. They parted ways in July just weeks after she moved to New York City for them to be together. In a social media post, she dropped hints about Shah's alleged infidelity.
"Nothing will be worse than losing my dad but this is a close second," she wrote on her Instagram Story after news of their split made headlines. "Betrayal is never easy for anyone and I’m just so sorry to anyone else that has stumbled across those terrible messages."
She continued, "I’m absolutely positive I will regret posting this tomorrow but so many of you have reached out saying you’re feeling a similar pain. I’m so so sorry."
Her agent Paul Desisto confirmed her split from Shah with People. According to Desisto, they are no longer together and she has already returned to Charleston after her brief move to the Big Apple.
Prior to dating Shah, Olindo was in a relationship with her "Southern Charm" co-star Craig Conover. Just recently, she said, she is happy for his success.
Olindo disclosed her feelings about Conover's success when one netizen commented on her selfie, "I wonder how she feels knowing [that] Craig's a complete success."
"She feels really good and is so so so happy for him!" Olindo replied.
Conover opened a Sewing Down South boutique and his own law firm earlier this year. The 32-year-old lawyer said that one of the most fun parts of starting a business is spreading positivity and doing what one wants to do.
