'Southern Charm' Star Naomie Olindo Seemingly Hints At Ex Metul Shah's Infidelity In A Post About 'Betrayal'

Naomie Olindo seemingly hinted that her ex-boyfriend Metul Shah might have been unfaithful to her before their split.

The "Southern Charm" alum and Shah's split made headlines over the weekend. On Tuesday, Olindo shared a post about betrayal on her Instagram Story.

"Nothing will be worse than losing my dad but this is a close second," she wrote. "Betrayal is never easy for anyone and I’m just so sorry to anyone else that has stumbled across those terrible messages."

"I’m absolutely positive I will regret posting this tomorrow but so many of you have reached out saying you’re feeling a similar pain. I’m so so sorry," she added.

Olindo's rep confirmed her split from Shah with People just weeks after she moved to New York City for them to be together.

"Naomie and Metul are no longer together," her agent Paul Desisto told People. "She is back in Charleston and plans to stay there for the time being."

In May, the outlet confirmed that she was moving from her hometown, South Carolina, to the Big Apple. Shah moved to New York after receiving a fellowship with Weill Cornell Medical College and she decided to follow him there.

Their split came as a surprise to many especially since just last month, Shah posted photos of them together on Instagram. In the snaps, the two of them were seen enjoying the beach with a group of friends.

"Just getting my balance back on land thanks to an incredible week on @marebluyacht. cannot rave enough about crew & co!!" he wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, the netizens have mixed opinions on their split. Some speculated that he cheated on Olindo and slammed him for their breakup. Meanwhile, others were not surprised with their separation.

"Shame on Metul. @naomie_olindo is a beauty! And a wonderful person. Ughhh," one tweeted.

"Not surprised," another added.

Prior to dating Shah, Olindo was in a relationship with her "Southern Charm" co-star Craig Conover. They split in 2017. Olindo and Conover did not publicize their separation until she posted a photo of her with a new man, which prompted some of her followers to ask if she and Conover were still together.

"Unfortunately we are not," Olindo replied. "But we are still great friends."
