‘A Nashville Christmas Carol’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
The holiday season continues on Hallmark Channel with the premiere of their newest holiday film, “A Nashville Christmas Carol.” The film, part of “Countdown to Christmas 2020,” stars Jessy Schram, Wes Brown, and a host of country music stars.
Schram and Brown are certainly familiar faces to Hallmark fans, as both have been staples in several of the network’s films. Schram’s most recent credits include “The Birthday Wish,” “Royal New Year’s Eve,” “Road To Christmas,” “Amazing Winter Romance” and “Country At Heart.” Meanwhile, Brown has starred in “Christmas Cookies,” “Under the Autumn Moon,” “Christmas At Graceland,” “Wedding At Graceland,” “Over The Moon In Loe” and “Check Inn To Christmas.”
Kimberly Williams-Paisley also stars in the film, and fans likely recognize her from the “Darrow & Darrow” films on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Netflix’s “The Christmas Chronicles,” Lifetime’s “The Christmas Shoes” or the major motion picture “Father of the Bride.” She is joined by several country music stars in minor roles—including Wynonna Judd, Sara Evans, Raelynn and Kix Brooks.
So what will happen in this film? The Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol” gets a country twist, as the star of the film lives through different scenarios for Christmas Past, Present and Future.
“A producer running a country music Christmas special has to work with the man who broke her heart, only to receive a visit from her deceased mentor who recruits the Spirit of Christmas Past and the Spirit of Christmas Present to get her back on track,” a synopsis reads.
Will the spirits of Country Christmas bring a Christmas Miracle?
“A Nashville Christmas Carol” premieres Saturday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
