‘Christmas With The Darlings’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast

Hallmark Channel’s merry holiday season continues with the newest of the holiday premieres, “Christmas With the Darlings.” The film, part of “Countdown to Christmas 2020,” stars Katrina Law and Carlo Marks.

Hallmark fans will certainly recognize both stars, as Marks has appeared not only in the films “Moonlight in Vermont,” and “Love in Store” for Hallmark Channel, but also portrayed David Peck on the original series “Chesapeake Shores.” He also starred in the 2019 Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas movie “Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday.”

Meanwhile, Law will be making her long-awaited return to Hallmark with this film, after last appearing in “Snow Bride” in 2013 and “The 12 Gifts of Christmas” in 2015. Since then, she also held roles as Karen Beach on Crackle’s “The Oath,” Nyssa al Ghul on The CW’s “Arrow” and Quinn Liu on CBS’s “Hawaii Five-O.”

So what can fans expect when these two Hallmark vets team up for their first film together? According to a synopsis, unexpected romance could be in store, after a Christmas favor is exchanged.

“Just before the holidays Jessica Lew (Law) is ending her tenure as the assistant to her wealthy boss to use her recently earned law degree within his company, but offers to help his charming, younger brother (Marks) look after his orphaned nieces and nephew over Christmas,” the synopsis reads.

Will helping out her boss’s brother help her score points in her professional career, or will Jessica actually be surprised to discover something else she’s missing this holiday season?

“Christmas With the Darlings” premieres Sunday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
