‘Nashville’ Season 4 Spoilers: Episode 4 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘The Slender Threads’? [VIDEO & PHOTOS]
After focusing on personal drama in episode 3, “Nashville” Season 4 will get back to the music in episode 4. Rayna’s (Connie Britton) Highway 65 artists will head to the Grand Ole Opry for a show, but there will be plenty of drama backstage. Meanwhile, Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) spirals even further down when she turns to pills, according to the synopsis for episode 4, titled “The Slender Threads.”
Rayna is hoping to showcase all of her artists’ talents at the Grand Ole Opry, but Markus (Riley Keen) might steal the attention away from Layla (Aubrey Peeples). “Rock star Markus Keen (Riley Smith) makes demands on Rayna as she struggles to tend to those around her,” the synopsis teases. As previously reported, once Markus realizes that Rayna desperately needs a successful artist, he’ll take try to take advantage of her.
Not only is Layla lacking attention from her label head, but she’ll also have trouble with her boyfriend. Layla and Jeff (Oliver Hudson) will have a “lover’s quarrel.” After weeks of being on tour with Juliette, Layla is likely a little jealous.
Meanwhile, Juliette’s personal secrets could be exposed when a journalist gets access to her life. “Jeff arranges for a journalist to shadow Juliette on tour, but after another emotional setback, she leans on pills and alcohol to get through her days,” the synopsis reveals. The starlet has been relying on alcohol for weeks, but adding pills might make Juliette finally hit rock bottom.
The trailer seems to reveal what Juliette's "emotional setback" will be. Reporters will show her paparazzi photos of Avery (Jonathan Jackson) and Emily (Kourtney Hansen) spending time together. The media is spinning the story to make it seem like they’re having an affair, but will Juliette believe it?
