‘Nashville’ Season 6 Spoilers: Premiere Synopsis, Photos And Video
It looks like “Nashville” will bring more drama than ever in the final season. The synopsis for the Season 6 premiere teases meltdowns, romance and self-discovery.
“After a public meltdown, Juliette seeks to change her life from an unlikely source,” the “Nashville” synopsis teases.
Juliette’s (Hayden Panettiere) breakdown has been a big focus in all of the trailers for the CMT drama’s 2018 episodes. The dust from stealing Maddie’s (Lennon Stella) song hasn’t settled yet, and fans are still angry. Juliette will be on stage when she has the sudden realization that she needs to take a break. Watch the dramatic scene in the video below:
The starlet has always struggled with depression, and she’ll find an interesting new source for help: a motivational speaker with a cult-like following.
Elsewhere in the “Nashville” Season 6 premiere, titled “New Strings,” Scarlett (Clare Bowen) will accompany the newly legal Maddie to Los Angeles for some New Year’s gigs. Maddie will make a special connection with someone while she’s there.
“Maddie meets Jonah Ford, a famous pop star,” the midseason premiere logline reveals. Jonah (Nic Luken) is a big deal, and he definitely knows it. Maddie has been around enough talent not to get totally star struck, but she might not be able to resist the megastar’s charm.
While Maddie meets a potential new love, Scarlett is still dealing with the aftermath of her breakup with Gunnar (Sam Palladio). The two won’t be speaking in the midseason premiere, and that will give them each some space to figure out how to function independently. “Scarlett struggles to find herself,” the summary hints.
Elsewhere, Will (Chris Carmack) encourages Gunnar’s solo career. Will coaches Gunnar on how to be more confident on stage without a partner.
While Scarlett and Gunnar fly solo, Deacon (Charles Esten) has to face the fact that his mourning period might be over. “Deacon deals with loneliness,” the episode 1 synopsis says. Even Daphne (Maisy Stella) notices that her stepdad might not be happy all by himself.
“Nashville” Season 6 premieres Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on CMT.
