Deviled eggs are one of the best snack recipes ever churned out. There are a dozen of reasons to love eggs -- they are high in protein, healthful fats, antioxidants and minerals, and most importantly for topping the chart of convenient foods.
Of all the on-the-go snack recipes one can ever think of, deviled eggs have been a favorite diners look forward to. Traditionally made with mustard, mayonnaise and paprika, deviled eggs can be a delicious addition to dinner parties, weekends gatherings and lunches.
The dish contains simply hard-cooked eggs with the yolk removed, mixed with mayonnaise and seasoning and returned right back into the cavities of cooked eggshells. They are good for garnishing and sinfully tasty, just how the name suggests.
The decadent dish, which has taken the culinary world by storm, has a day dedicated to it. The deviled eggs are honored on Nov. 2 which is officially marked as the National Deviled Eggs Day.
