The first Friday in June is National Doughnut Day, so it’s time to celebrate. While donut shops have plenty of deals happening on June 7, some might prefer to make their own delicious treats. Don’t worry, it’s not hard. These homemade donut recipes are easy to follow, even if you’re an amateur baker.

Chocolate Glazed Donuts — These bad boys are perfect if you don’t have much time on National Doughnut Day 2019. This recipe from Buns in My Oven takes less than 20 minutes to make, and there’s no frying involved. Bakers just need a donut pan.

Gluten Free Apple Cider Donuts — Everyone deserves warm, delicious donuts, even if they can’t tolerate gluten. This Taste of Home recipe uses a simple gluten free biscuit/baking mix rather than combining different alternative flours.

Maine Potato Doughnuts — You read that right. Potatoes. Yankee Magazine first printed this recipe that uses mashed potatoes in 1937, and it’s still a hit. The recipe takes less than an hour and a half to make.

Bacon Donuts With Maple Cinnamon Cream — This delicious combo of sweet and savory can be all yours if you have a couple hours to spare. Bread Booze Bacon has a recipe for the filled donuts that is easy to follow and absolutely mouth-watering.

Pina Colada Donuts — These doughnuts sound like a perfect summer treat. This recipe from Cooking on the Front Burners uses pineapple chunks and coconut milk to achieve that tropical taste.

S’mores Doughnuts — Ayesha Curry shared this recipe with Food Network, and it looks pretty impressive if you have guests (or want to brag on Instagram). These donuts are topped with chocolate frosting, crushed graham crackers and a toasted marshmallow.

Of course, should your kitchen adventure take a turn for the worst, you can get free donuts on National Doughnut Day 2019. Check out 10 deals available on June 7.
