National Gorgeous Grandma Day 2021: 10 Quotes to Honor Your Nana
National Gorgeous Grandma Day is marked annually on July 23 to celebrate and honor the grannies in our lives.
The origin of this day remains unknown, but the phrase "gorgeous grandma" came about thanks to Alice Solomon, who graduated at the age of 50 from Wellesley College in 1984. She came up with the idea of "gorgeous grandma" to challenge the society that saw her and other women of her age as senior citizens, even though they were not grandmothers.
