No movie-watching experience is ever complete without a tub of popcorn. Popping the munchies during an adrenaline-soaked watch is one of the means to pacify our racing emotions but the aspect that we possibly have never reflected on is that popcorns are healthy, especially with regard to the heart.

Popcorns, in all its forms ranging from rock-salted to caramelized or those blasted with chillis, have been linked to a lower risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancers and other health problems. It is a powerhouse of dietary fiber and therefore eating popcorn is as good as consuming whole-grain bread, fruits and veggies.
