Naya Rivera Steps Out In L.A. Days After Arrest In West Virginia
Naya Rivera has returned to Los Angeles days after her arrest in West Virginia.
The “Glee” actress was spotted carrying a folder filled with papers. It is unclear where she was headed. Rivera was also wearing an all-black ensemble that consisted of a cap, shirt, sweatpants and jacket. She also had sunglasses on. The actress just got out of her car when her photo was taken.
Rivera’s outing came just days after her husband, Ryan Dorsey, called 911 to report the actress’ misdemeanor. An audio of the call was obtained by TMZ, and Dorsey told the officer on the line that his wife had hit her. Dorsey also confirmed that there were no guns involved in the incident.
After the responders checked on Dorsey and Rivera at their Chesapeake home, she was booked for domestic battery. A photo of Rivera at the police station also surfaced.
As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Dorsey and Rivera have already patched things up. But after the incident, the actor urged everyone to give him and Rivera some privacy. On his social media account, Dorsey reminded his followers that what happened to them is a real-life situation and not something that they would see on television.
Rivera and Dorsey tied the knot on July 19, 2014 just months after she split from Big Sean. The very public break up happened online, and Rivera revealed in her “Sorry Not Sorry” book that she only found out that her wedding has been called off in the news and not from Big Sean himself.
Last year, Rivera spoke with People to clarify that her wedding to Dorsey wasn’t really a “surprise.” Initially, fans thought that the actor was just the actress’ fallback.
Rivera and Dorsey first dated in 2010, but the actress called it quits so she could focus on her career. A few weeks later, she found out that she’s pregnant with Dorsey’s child. Rivera terminated the pregnancy, but never told Dorsey about it.
After her split from Big Sean, Dorsey reached out to Rivera and consoled her. The two soon decided to get back together.
