'NBA 2K20' Warriors Player Ratings Are Dreadful: 10 Players Below 75
Golden State Warriors fans, rejoice! NBA 2K20 has just released its rating of your favorite team. To no surprise, Stephen Curry led the pack with an overall rating of 95.
As posted by @GSWReddit on Twitter, the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player also garnered a “league-leading” three-point ranking of 99, and sixth in the Top 100 players behind his former teammate, Kevin Durant who was ranked 96.
Curry's current rating came in two points short of last year where he was rated 97 by the same outlet, said NBC Sports.

NBA 2K19 also placed Curry on the high seat of the Top 10 Current Point Guards list.
Despite his injury, fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson was rated 89 alongside a 97 mark on three-point shooting and a 16th spot on the Top 100 players. Following him is D'Angelo Russell, whom the Warriors acquired from the Brooklyn Nets, with a rating of 87.
Thomspon was rated 88 last year and fifth on the Top 10 Curret Shooting Guards list, while Russell's 87 rating was good for the eighth spot on the Top Point Guard category.
Defensive ace Draymond Green will enjoy an 86 rating, while Willie Cauley-Stein and Kevon Lonney peaked in at 79 and 77, respectively. Ten players on the Warriors' roster, however, fell below 75, including Ky Bowman who has yet to be rated.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James leads the way in this year's NBA2K with an overall rating of 97. He is followed by Clippers standout and former Toronto Raptor Kawhi Leonard at 97.
Rounding the Top 10 players are Giannis Antetokounmpo and James Harden (96); Anthony Davis (94); Paul George (93); Damian Lillard (92) and Joel Embiid (91).
Playerswho sees their name on an NBA 2K title are rated individually on a 99-point scale. In Oct. 4, 2017, Complex published an article on how NBA 2K determines player rankings and stated that rankings are not based on “some backstage popularity contest,” or that of the developers' “gut instinct.”

Instead, it is more of a “scientific process intended to elimate as much bias as possible.” NBC Sports added that ratings combine a player's passing accuracy, durability, the ability to draw fouls and free throw percentage, among others.
There are around 50 attributes that developers look for “to get the complete picture of each player,” it added.
2K Games Producer Michael Stauffer said that they “have to balance the statistics” considering that they don't want to upset the players.
“They take a lot of pride in their work,” he said.
