The NBA trade deadline has come and gone, although there are still some players who have yet to find new teams. Tied to that, "NBA 2K21" has released new player ratings, with some cagers seeing their numbers either improving or falling a bit.
Among the players whose "NBA 2K21" rankings changed were a couple of now-former Orlando Magic players. Nikola Vucevic has moved to the Chicago Bulls, something most feel would provide head coach Billy Donovan a boost. However, the Montenegrin saw his overall rating drop by a point, now standing at 87.
The other is Evan Fournier, who is now with the Boston Celtics. Not seen by pundits as someone who would make noise, the French player saw his rating rise by a point. He now holds an "NBA 2K21" rating of 83.
Other names saw their rankings improve. The list includes Moses Brown of the OKC Thunder, who went up by seven points and now has a 74 rating. Kenyon Martin Jr.'s rank improved by six, and he now owns a 73 rating. Jordan Poole got a five-point bump in his "NBA 2K21" ranking and now has a 77 overall rating.
Other movers include NBA Rookie of the Year candidate Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Nicolas Claxton of the Brooklyn Nets. Edwards now has an 87 rating, while Claxton saw his shoot up to 77 overall.
Aside from these, other notable names saw their ratings change. These include Jimmy Butler, who improved by one point for a 91 OVR. A struggling Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers saw a slight dip on his end, falling below the 90 mark with an 89 rating. The same goes for Karl-Anthony Towns, whose rating went down by two for an 87 OVR ranking.
Other NBA players who saw some changes in their "NBA 2K21" ratings include Julius Randle of the New York Knicks and Russell Westbrook of the Washington Wizards. Randle, who has been having a superb season, saw his stat improve to 88, while former NBA MVP Westbrook was not far behind with a new 87 OVR.
"NBA 2K21" is available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC. For the complete list of player changes in this update, check out the official website.
