Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, who won Season 12 of “America’s Got Talent,” has something new in store for fans: an NBC Christmas special.
Airing Tuesday night, “Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas” features Farmer, along with Kristin Chenoweth, Toby Keith, Hunter Hayes, Pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling. “The one-hour telecast will feature musical performances and sketches from the talented young singer-ventriloquist, along with her lively puppets,” a press release for the show revealed of what else viewers can expect to see.
Chenoweth will sing “What a Wonderful World,” while Hayes will perform his new song, “This Christmas.” Pentatonix and Stirling, along with the aforementioned puppets, will perform holiday favorites, like “Santa Baby,” “Mary Did You Know” and “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.”
“Farmer will perform with Keith as the two pay visit to the OK Kids Korral, a home for children battling cancer,” the press release shared. On top of everything else, “America’s Got Talent” judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B will also make surprise appearances during the holiday special.
Farmer’s currently on her “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree with Darci Lynne and Friends” tour and will kick off her “Fresh Out of the Box” tour shortly after her other one wraps in the new year.
