'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 11: Special Episode Written By Eric Christian Olsen

There will be a special episode in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11 that has been written by cast member Eric Christian Olsen, who plays the role of Marty Deeks. The plot of the episode will explore Hetty’s (Kinda Hunt) backstory.

Showrunner R. Scott Gemmill told TV Line recently that Olsen has written the script of one of the episodes of the show. The plot of the episode “focuses on some of Hetty’s backstory, so that’s fun,” the producer said.

The special episode for Hetty is significant because the character was missing in many of the episodes in Season 10. Hunt was in an accident back then, which meant that she couldn’t be a part of the show for some time. She finally got back for the wedding episode of Deeks and Kensi (Daniela Ruah).

The TV series appears to be making up for all the lost time for Hetty. The special episode will also be a good opportunity for Olsen, who appears to be making his script writing debut with “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11.

Olsen appears to be branching out to different fields in the TV industry. He has already worked as an executive producer for the documentary “Andy Irons: Kissed by God,” and his upcoming project as an executive producer is the comedy series “Woke,” which will premiere sometime later this year.

Meanwhile, the fans are counting down the days for Olsen to be back as Deeks on screen. The actor has been sharing some funny behind-the-scenes pictures from the production set.

The official Instagram page of the TV series has started the one week countdown to the premiere of the show with a picture of Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J). “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11 will air on Sept. 29 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
