'NCIS Los Angeles' Season 7 Return Date: Kensi And Deeks Go Undercover

While most shows on network television are on extended winter breaks, CBS isn’t letting fans of their hit series “NCIS Los Angeles” wait for too long. The show returns for the second half of Season 7 on Jan. 4, with an episode titled "Core Values."

According to Spoiler TV, “NCIS Los Angeles” Season 7 returns with Special Agents Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) in the spotlight. The partners go undercover in “Core Values” to investigate a case of radiation poisoning.

The couple will infiltrate a nuclear power plant where the victim works. He is a Gunnery Sargeant who was apparently moonlighting at the plant before he was lethally poisoned. The interesting dynamic between Kensi and Deeks, will be one to watch out for in this episode as they go back to work after spending the Christmas holidays together with their mothers.

The pair’s romantic relationship has grown by leaps and bounds this season, with Deeks revealing his deepest secrets to Kensi. In the previous episode, he admitted that he is in fact guilty of killing his former partner in the LAPD.

He was accused of the crime on Episode 10, but was eventually cleared with the help of some manipulation by Hetty. Deeks admitted that he shot his fellow officer, in order to save a hooker that he was physically assaulting. Kensi admitted that she figured it out, but she wanted to wait for Deeks to be ready to tell her.

The series returns on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
