Nelly Dating Shantel Jackson? Rapper Rumored To Be Dating Floyd Mayweather's Ex-Fiance

Nelly is rumored to be dating Floyd Mayweather’s ex-fiancee, Shantel Jackson. Just weeks ago, Nelly posted a photo of Jackson on Instagram as his #WCW, or “Woman Crush Wednesday.” It seems the flattery worked, as the two ended up going out together shortly afterward.

On Monday, the rapper/singer/songwriter was seen taking her to watch the Miami Heat play the Charlotte Bobcats in North Carolina.

Jackson has had an up-and-down relationship with Mayweather; she split from the boxer this year after four years together. They had been engaged since 2013, after Mayweather proposed to her with a $10 million diamond ring.

“You always want a strong, beautiful woman that you can share your everything with,” Mayweather said, according to MLive. “But I have to go my separate way. She’s focusing on her career in L.A., which is acting. And I’m focusing on my career, which is boxing. Sometimes people can outgrow one another, but we’re still friends.”

Meanwhile, Nelly recently split with model and actress Lashontae Heckard. It's believed the pair had been together since at least January 2013.

But they split after Nelly was seen getting up close and personal with his ex-girlfriend of nearly 10 years, singer Ashanti. Page Six reported in February that the two were seen hanging out together at New York nightclub WIP along with P. Diddy, Rick Ross and other rappers.

Shortly after, Nelly confirmed his single status on Instagram, posting a picture of himself along with the caption, “Hold up…!! I’m 100% single…! So what..!!"

Now, it seems Heckard is having the last laugh, though, after NBA player Brandon Jennings posted a photo of himself on Instagram alongside her, and she was wearing what looked like a large diamond on her ring finger. Along with the photo was a caption: “We don’t care. What you think!!!”
