NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss Were ‘Going For Blood’ At ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Reunion

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 reunion has been full of heated arguments, but it appears Kandi Burruss predicted she and NeNe Leakes would exchange some words during the virtual gathering.

“The Masked Singer” winner revealed that she does not see an end to her feud with NeNe following a recent dig that the 52-year-old made about Kandi being “number two” in her eyes.

Kandi opened up to Entertainment Tonight about her issues with NeNe. “To be honest with you, she and I had an argument over text messages that was, like, ridiculous,” she revealed.

“We were cussing each other out, reading each other on the text messages -- just me and her, nobody else was involved in this -- just she and I, and I had just stopped responding to her at a certain point because I realized that this lady is really just gonna keep going back and forth with me on this text message, and we over here really being childish right now.”

Kandi realized the argument would only make things tenser between herself and Nene. “From that I knew that it was gonna be ugly at the reunion. I was like, if we are doing this on a text between she and I, clearly we gonna be going for blood at the reunion,” she explained.

“And so, I just was ready for the drama, because I already knew she was gonna be doing what she does. I didn’t even care. I was just, OK, whatever she want to do, I was gonna match her energy. If she came crazy, I was gonna come crazy right back. So, that’s basically what happened.”

Although NeNe and Kandi didn’t have issues with one another while filming “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12, Nene told “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen that she didn’t have a problem with Kandi until she watched the latest episodes of the reality series and saw her co-star speaking poorly about her.

“In fact, when she was at that brunch she was very nice to everybody. I was really surprised to see her get in her interview and say those things,” NeNe said.
