‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Season 12 Reunion Was ‘Aggressive’, NeNe Leakes Slammed Over Jealousy
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 may be over, but fans can look forward to seeing plenty of drama at the reunion. When Bravo airs the special event, cast members like Kenya Moore, NeNe Leakes, and Kandi Burruss will virtually come together to reflect on what has happened and what’s next.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the cast was not able to film their reunion in person, which reportedly caused a problem when arguments began to erupt.
After filming the “RHOA” Season 12 reunion, Kandi told HollywoodLife that the women had failed to resolve some of their differences because of past feuds. “I’m not going to lie. Well, for me, it was aggressive,” she said.
“I would say aggressive because I mean the arguments were going so crazy sometimes that [host] Andy [Cohen] is trying to get us to stop, and he can’t because we’re not in the room with him so nobody can stop us from talking or saying what we need to say, so people are just going for roadkill when they say what it is they need to say until finally some of us had to be muted,” Kandi explained.
Kandi believes some people weren’t able to completely voice their feelings over conflicts while filming the special. One matter that wasn’t resolved during the reunion was Kandi’s ongoing feud with NeNe.
If the show returns for Season 13, Kandi revealed that she’ll allow NeNe to decide whether their relationship will work. “Going into the next season, I would probably have to say, for me, I don’t know how she’s feeling, but for me, I feel like I will reciprocate the energy that she gives me,” the Xscape singer said.
When asked if she felt that jealously was the reason NeNe has been speaking poorly about her, Kandi shared her thoughts on the feud.
“Definitely! I will have to say there is some type of jealousy or envy or something. My whole thing is we have not had one, not one argument the entire season, and it wasn’t until, you know, we’re out of the season that she started having a problem with me,” she said.
“I don’t know about everybody else, and how everyone else feels, but I personally feel that she started having like little things to say after, I think it was like shortly after the season started airing, and I believe Kenya and Eva had did different interviews saying I make more money than her or something like that,” Kandi added.
Fans will have to wait to see which topics caused the cast to lash out at one another.
Part One of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 reunion is expected to air on May 10 on Bravo.
